Emir Syahrir (born in Jakarta, June 16, 1959) is an expert in oil and gas production optimization with over 30 years of experience. He completed his education at Trisakti University, Jakarta, specializing in Architecture.
His career includes various strategic roles in the energy industry, notably as Business Unit Manager at Weatherford Indonesia, where he led production optimization projects, well monitoring systems, and the development of artificial lift technology. He played a key role in SCADA projects, Digital Oil Field implementation, and innovation in production automation.
Beyond Weatherford, Emir has worked with major companies such as PT Elnusa Tbk., PT Endurance Lift Dynamics Indonesia, and PT Catur Khita Persada as a Technical Advisor and Production Optimization Specialist. His expertise covers pumping systems, IoT-based well monitoring, and AI-driven production analysis.
Emir is also active in publishing technical papers and has received multiple awards, including the APQA Platinum Winner 2021. With his extensive contributions to oil and gas technology innovation, he continues to play a vital role in developing sustainable energy solutions.
