Carlo Terragni joined NEUMAN & ESSER Italy, the Italian subsidiary of NEUMAN & ESSER Group, in 2008 as Sales Manager. His role grew first to Vice President Sales for EMENA Region in 2013 and, since 2015, it has expanded to Managing Director, overseeing the company’s operations both in primary and after-market businesses, providing visionary leading, enabling company’s growth, executing comprehensive business strategy towards Group’s business goals.
Carlo is also Member of the Board of the Division Hydrogen Generation Solutions at NEUMAN & ESSER Group, where is responsible for developing and driving the strategy to provide integrated solutions for the energy infrastructure and support the transition to a clean energy future.
Carlo is an accomplished executive, holding a M. Sc. Degree in Aerospace Engineering at Politecnico di Milano (Italy), with 20+ experience in hands-on management, working in challenging, goal-oriented environments, dealing with rotating equipment including gas turbines, centrifugal fans & blowers, reciprocating compressors both piston and diaphragm type, H2 generation systems and biomethane.
He started his career in GE Oil & Gas – Nuovo Pignone in Florence (Italy) as Aeroderivative Gas Turbine Product Support Leader, after which he shifted his career to ABB PS&S S.p.A. – EPC Plants Unit as Machinery Engineer in the Technical Division.
He then worked for Boldrocchi S.r.l., an Italian manufacturer of heavy-duty centrifugal fans and blowers, where he held first the Position of Sales Engineer and then the position of Director of the Indian Daughter Company – AEC Boldrocchi India, overseeing their activities.
