Jay Jeong is the refinery process specialist in Alfa Laval Technologies AB in Sweden. Jay has more than 30 years of experience in various industries, including more than 19 years in Alfa Laval, mainly as heat exchanger expert for various process industries including refinery, petrochemical, inorganic chemicals and steel industry.

Since 2017, Jay has been actively helping refinery customers in Asia and Oceania in handling various process challenges, such as, finding ways to reach process/energy optimization in process units, including ADU/VDU and various catalytic processes, has been one of the main focus areas, while mitigating heavy fouling in FCC/RFCC, desalter and heavy oil processes such as visbreaker and residue hydrocracker is another area of focus.
